Father & Daughter experience CBD for the first time… Or is it?

Things turn awkward when he finds out she knows WAY more than most do — including himself…

But watch until the end where they share their experience in their own words.
And stay tuned for the follow up video article where dad REALLY opens up about his childhood.

Cannabis was found near the Altai Mountains in Central Asia over 12,000 years ago.
Since then, the seeds have migrated with nomadic peoples who were using it for medicinal use appearing before the Common Era in China, Egypt, Greece and later in the Roman empire.

It’s not until 1940 that Harvard-trained chemist Roger Adams successfully extracted C B D from the plant.

The structure of the main psychoactive phytocannabinoid, tetrahydrocannabinol (T H C), was determined in Israel by Mechoulam and Gaoni in 1964.

It took centuries but in 1988 the Endocannabinoid System ( ECS ) was officially discovered.

This is the largest receptor system and the master regulator of homeostasis in the human body.

“One of the major effects of endogenous cannabinoids is to regulate the release of dopamine, serotonin, and other neurotransmitters. We can compare endocannabinoids to the immune system.” said Mechoulam.

But in 1937, Cannabis was made illegal in the United States largely as an effort of businessmen Andrew Mellon, Randolph Hearst, and the Du Pont family looking to market synthetic nylon over natural hemp.

The new ‘law’ was passed despite objections of the American Medical Association that the bill was written by Du Pont lawyers without the legally-binding time to prepare their opposition to the bill. At the time, Dr. William Creighton Woodward who was the lead lawyer for the AMA asserted that because the word Spanish word marijuana was largely unknown to the medical profession at the time so they did not realize they were losing the ability to prescribe the canna plant. “Marijuana is NOT the correct term. The burden of this bill is placed heavily on the doctors and pharmacists of this country.” which were now forced to prescribe petroleum synthetic drugs instead of the natural remedies used for centuries.

In 1952, the Boggs Act sanctioned mandatory sentencing for simple possession with a first time offense carrying a mandatory sentence of 2 to 10 years and a fine up to $20,000!

It’s not until Nov. 5, 1991 that the first medical initiative passed in San Francisco to ‘restore hemp medical preparations to the list of available medicines in California,’ and not to penalize physicians for prescribing’

On Nov. 5, 1996 – California Becomes First State to Legalize Cannabis for Medical use again as it was for centuries before.

Only 14 states out of 50 have stuck to the 1937 laws far removed from the ground breaking discovery of the endocannabinoid system which play an active role in memory, mood, appetite and metabolism, sleep, pain response, thermoregulation, immunity and even reproduction.

So while many physicians are returning to their roots and prescribing hemp for many treatments, including cancer, muscular spasticity, migraines, even aids — others still associate it with the stigma of an illegal drug.

That’s why they have not even considered trying it sadly because of lack of knowledge.

How many people know that we have an endocannabinoid system? Very few.

How many know how it works? fewer.

How many know how it feels when it works? Even fewer.

But what you do know is yourself. How you feel. How you act and react. So if you have not tried for yourself you may be missing out.

But what to try and how do you choose?

Who do you trust with so many brands out there?

A few helpful tips for you:

– Go with organic product if you can that’s free of GMO’s

– Favor companies that subject themselves to third party testing. You may find more consistent quality in production

– Stick with American products…  US producers are way ahead of everyone else in both the production, harvesting and manufacturing of quality products

– Check out reviews and pay attention to companies that accurately describe the content of their products and have quality that’s consistent

One company that is creating buzz right now is Imaginal based out of Miami with their “Try it together challenge”.

Harvard study documented that hemp allows you to respond to active stress with unprecedented calm. Imaginal encourages everyone to try it for themselves with their most popular product the organic elderberry gummies.

Imaginal created and optimized a formulation that sharpens focus while allowing people to stay cool, calm and composed no matter what stressful situation they may encounter living up to their popular hashtag #MakingEverythingBetter

They’re so confident that users will experience the difference and become repeat customers that they are giving it away if you cover the basic shipping & handling costs.

Users are encouraged to document their journey with a simple video recording from the start of the experiment up until 30 minutes later.  They can become affiliates of the product and use that same video to share their experience.

Apparently the program has been very successful as user generated content is proving to be better received by overloaded content consumers. It also enabled common users to generate a significant income as an affiliate for the first time. A win-win-win.

So if you’re still on the fence about whether it is good or bad? For you or not? Why not give it a shot if you can try it free of charge.

I ordered my own sample so I can try with my sister and I will publish the article as soon as we do.

But no matter what side you’re on or what you believe, do your homework for yourself
